Building a Community-Focused Business Hub with Bubbleplay with Miss BubbleFaye

Why I’m Building a Community Hub

For as long as I can remember, my life has been about chasing wonder and creating moments of joy. From fire performing in Austin to sailing thousands of miles and now bringing giant bubbles to kids and families in Jacksonville, I’ve seen how powerful it is when people feel connected, seen, and supported.

Now, I’m ready to take that spirit of connection a step further.

I’m building a community hub for entertainers and event professionals – a space where we can:

  • Uplift each other
  • Share valuable resources
  • Make it easier for families and organizers to find us
  • Strengthen our online presence together

This isn’t just about my bubble business. It’s about creating a network where entertainers, event planners, and creative service providers can shine side by side.

Within this larger community, I’ll also be dedicating space to highlight women-owned businesses on a regular basis.

What This Hub Is All About

At its core, this hub is a growing directory and community space hosted on my website, Bubbleplay with Miss BubbleFaye. It will feature businesses and professionals in the entertainment and event world that I love, trust, and believe in.

Each listing will have a simple, human-centered spotlight that includes:

  • Business or performer name
  • Owner’s or contact name (if they’d like to share it)
  • A short description of what they do
  • Their website or booking link
  • Their location or service area

Over time, this hub will grow into a place where families, event organizers, and other professionals can come to discover:

  • Entertainers for parties, festivals, and events
  • Event planners and coordinators
  • Creative and educational experiences for kids and families
  • Local makers, artists, and service providers who support events

It’s part directory, part connection point for the people who bring events to life.

A Special Focus on Women-Owned Businesses

While this hub is open to all genders in the entertainer and event planner worlds, I also want to intentionally uplift women-owned businesses.

One way I’ll be doing that is by featuring:

  • 1–2 women-owned businesses each month in a dedicated spotlight section
  • Short interviews, behind-the-scenes stories, or features that highlight their work

These spotlights will:

  • Give women-owned businesses extra visibility
  • Share their stories and values with my audience
  • Create opportunities for collaboration and support within the wider community

This allows the hub to stay inclusive and open to everyone, while still honoring the unique challenges and strengths of women in business.

How This Helps Businesses in the Community

This hub is designed to support entertainers, planners, and other event-related businesses in a few key ways:

  1. Visibility
Being featured on another business’s website creates another place where people can find you. Families who come to my site for bubble shows might discover a photographer, planner, DJ, or kids’ class they didn’t know existed.
  2. Connection
I want this to be more than a list of links. My goal is to spark real relationships: collaborations, referrals, shared events, and mutual support.
  3. Credibility
When a business is recommended by another trusted business, it builds trust. A parent or organizer might feel more confident booking a service they see highlighted in a curated community.
  4. Shared Growth
As we share each other’s features and spotlights, we all benefit from increased reach, word of mouth, and opportunities.

How This Supports My Website and SEO (In Simple Terms)

I believe in being transparent, so here’s the honest part: yes, this hub also supports my website and SEO.

When other businesses:

  • Link back to Bubbleplay with Miss BubbleFaye
  • Share blog posts or spotlights that mention my site
  • Collaborate on content or events

It sends signals to search engines that my website is:

  • Connected to other real, local businesses
  • Part of a trusted network
  • A useful resource for families and organizers

In simple terms: when we lift each other up online, we all become easier to find.

But this only works if the heart of the project is real community, not just links. That’s why I’m focusing on genuine relationships, thoughtful spotlights, and businesses I truly believe in.

What This Might Look Like Over Time

As this hub grows, you might see:

  • A dedicated Community Hub page on my site featuring entertainers, planners, and event-related businesses
  • A recurring Women-Owned Business Spotlight 1–2 times per month
  • Themed roundups like “Entertainers and Creatives Making Jacksonville More Magical for Families”
  • Collaborations, bundles, or co-hosted events between members of the hub

I want this to evolve naturally, at a human pace, based on real connections and opportunities.

How to Get Involved

If you are an entertainer, event planner, or event-supporting business and this vision resonates with you, I’d love to connect.

Whether you:

  • Perform at parties, festivals, or community events
  • Plan and coordinate events
  • Offer services that pair well with entertainment, kids, education, or community
  • Or simply believe in uplifting others in the event world

There may be a place for you in this growing hub.

If you are a woman-owned business, there may also be an opportunity to be featured in one of the monthly spotlights.

You can reach out through my website to start a conversation. I’d love to learn about what you do, explore how we can support each other, and see if it’s a good fit for the community I’m building.

A Community Built on Play, Joy, and Support

At Bubbleplay with Miss BubbleFaye, my mission has always been to spread laughter and teach play culture—to create experiences that make kids giggle and adults smile.

This community hub is an extension of that mission.

It’s about:

  • Making business feel a little less lonely
  • Building a web of support instead of competition
  • Creating a space where people in the event world can be seen, celebrated, and connected

If that sounds like something you want to be part of, you’re welcome here.

This is just the beginning, and I’m excited to see what we can create together.
